Question 1 (6 marks) As labelled on the package, each bag of chips is supposed to contain 150g of chips. In the manufacturing process, the content of each bag is filled according to a normal distribution with a mean of 152g and a standard deviation of 4g.
(a) Find the probability that the actual content in a randomly selected bag is greater than the labelled value. [2 marks]
(b) You have just bought a family pack which contains 10 bags of 150g chips. Find the probability that the mean content of these ten bags is greater than the labelled value. [3 marks]
(c) Compare your answers in the previous two parts. Explain why or why not they are different.
