I think group communication can be a bit of a challenge, there are so many different ego’s involved in a group meeting. Some like to dominate others tend to lack authority when they speak and wonder why their opinions aren’t considered. There is more to holding a meeting than Robert’s Rule of Parliamentary law! This chapter gave great insight to hold and engage an effective meeting, especially in the panning stages where you create the agenda including who to invite; selecting the best time for productivity when holding these meetings. How to manage difficult conversations was a gold nugget of information because more than often there will be difficult and awkward moments in a meeting room.
