Open the dataset(ExamAnxiety) for your topic, go toAnalyze, then toGeneralized Linear Model, then toGeneralized Linear Model.
Next, you will complete the following, in order:
Complete the type of model (linear).
Complete the response tab (for the dependent variable).
Complete the predictors. (The categorical/nominal variables are “factors” and the scale/continuous variables are “covariates.”)
Under the “model” tab, select all the “factors and covariates” and move them into the “model” box to test the main effects.
Complete the Wald in the statistics tab. (Note the model effect is Type III.)Pleaseexplainthis.
Conduct a generalized linear model in SPSS to create the linear regression model. Do so by selecting factors and covariates. The statistics will be Chi-square statistics using Wald and using the Type III model effects. (As a reminder, Chapter 19 in your text talks about Wald statistics.)
Copy and paste the results table into a Word document.
Write at least three sentences that answer your predictive research question, based on your data analysis.
Discuss and analyze significant findings and directional relationships (positive versus negative coefficients).
How are these findings similar to or different from the linear regression analysis from Unit 8?
What do the findings suggest about the data and the research questions?
