All of my other homework was really easy and went quickly

Question
If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. I have been stumped on this one problem for hours and for some reason I cannot figure it out. All of my other homework was really easy and went quickly. Here is the problem: Suppose m(x) = x / x^2 – 1 That is m of x is equal to x divided by x squared minus one. Find all x such that m(x) = 2 That is it…. I am pretty sure I am not supposed to solve for m(2) but substituting a 2 for all the x’s, but I have not come up with any other way to approach this and it is different from every other problem in my homework and there is nothing similar in the entire chapter. PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you! -Jason nwpentax@gmail.com
